Each morning, like the boss disbursing the coffee klatsch, we seem to scatter some animals off the trail. Leaving Harpers Ferry, a flock of little brown birds fluttered around us as we crossed the bridge. Outside of Hancock, deer fled off the rail trail. Cumberland featured trail side bunnies, and today chipmunks scurried from our wheels. As we head into more urban environments, these little thrills will just be pleasant memories.

I'm glad the weather seems a bit better for you because it's still rainy and chilly here. The GAP trail does look pretty nice. Have a good ride tomorrow.

Definitely reading your blog. Love reading about how you are tuned into the weather. I'm at the beach, each day contemplating a ride, but wind at 20 mph usually from the north or south has meant hefty headwind either out or back and I've bagged riding those days. I'm getting that you can't do that.
