The wind today was amazing. We had to pedal down hill to get our speed up over 10 mph.
But we had some luck too. The midpoint town was supposed to have "no services." But lo and behold there was a small store with a small food section beside the fan belts and spark plugs. We had ice cream bars at 10:30.
We saw the same two MS riders that we met yesterday and the MS sag wagon drivers waved at us multiple times. They are from Richmond and Springfield, VA.
Since the MS riders were supposed to do 50 more miles than we did, we said good bye to them. They plan to be in Seattle on August 4.
There was plenty of scenery--just not much in it.
The view from our hotel room is not inspiring, but we do have a dinosaur out front.
And the best part of our day was meeting up with our friend Cornell.
