It's so hard not to give you a weather report since it's the main thing on our minds. And we care more about wind (direction and velocity) than rain. Let's just say today was a breeze.
Wheat fields stretch out.
We made a comfort & coffee stop in Antwerp, Ohio. I'm just going to show these next 6 pictures without comment as they speak for themselves. I think they capture the essence of the town.
When we crossed into Indiana, I took a picture of the "state line" sign, but that's something that had meaning only to us. One indication that we are in fact progressing. To you, it would just be a green sign on a post. So I won't show it here.
Heading to Ft. Wayne, we started to see industry as opposed to agriculture. The B. F. Goodrich tire plant was huge.
We are staying at the Hilton Inn downtown. It's so nice I didn't want to ask permission to take the bikes up to the room for fear they might say no. Marie noticed that if we went in through the parking garage, we could avoid rolling our bikes through the lobby. Here's what the hotel security cameras must have observed:
